New Delhi: Realme GT 2 Pro, the first premium flagship from the handset maker, will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the company announced on Tuesday. Chip-making giant Qualcomm has officially unveiled its next-generation premium 5G chipset for flagship Android devices, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021.
“Our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies on Realme GT 2 Pro will create an unparalleled 5G experience across all aspects - be it gaming, camera, daily usage or 5G network. We believe that users deserve nothing but the very best and have dedicated significant resources to etch out a powerful and holistic flagship portfolio," Madhav Sheth, CEO-Realme India, President - Realme International Business Group and Vice President - Realme, said in a statement.
"As we expedite our leadership in the premium smartphone segment this year, Realme will continue to collaborate with OEMs and chipset manufacturers to introduce state-of-the-art products and re-define the premium smartphone experience," Sheth added.
Earlier last week, Realme had confirmed that its most premium flagship smartphone will be called Realme GT 2 Pro. This announcement came almost two weeks after the smartphone player announced its foray into the premium handsets category. Realme had also made the announcement on its social media handles.
