New Delhi: Handset maker Oppo has joined the league of smartphone OEMs that have announced upcoming flagships with the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 top-tier processor. Realme and Xiaomi have already mentioned they would use the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm and now, Oppo has also revealed on Weibo that the Find X4 Pro can be expected in the first quarter of 2022.


The handset maker also wrote on Twitter that its next flagship will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. "Our next flagship + @Snapdragon's next Mobile Platform Your smartphone experience, elevated Are you ready?" Oppo recently tweeted.






This is the first time we have heard about the new Oppo Find X lineup. 


Meanwhile, according to a leakster on Weibo, the Oppo Find X4 may feature a 6.78-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED LTPO display with a 2K resolution. The display may also offer a adaptive refresh rate that will go up to 120Hz. Considering that the previous-gen Oppo Find X3 models featured Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 chips, the Oppo Find X4 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.


Camera specs may include 50 MP+50 MP+13 MP telephoto cameras with updated sensors. Other components are expected to be 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The device could draw power from a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast-charging as well as 50W wireless fast-charging.
