New Delhi: OnePlus has become the latest smartphone OEM to announce that its next flagship, the purported OnePlus 10, will feature the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The company CEO Pete Lau, on his Weibo page, mentioned that the flagship processor will be featured in OnePlus' next-generation devices (via PhoneArena). Lau did not name the OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro, but these are the purported names of the forthcoming handsets.
According to previous reports, the OnePlus 10 Pro's alleged renders had leaked in November that hinted at a design that appeared to be inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S21. The leaked renders also hinted at a different rear camera design language than the ones found on current OnePlus devices.
Meanwhile, the handset maker may launch the OnePlus RT alongside its new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Z2 in India this month. According to a leak, the OnePlus RT may be unveiled in two colours in India.
According to accurate tipster Ishan Agarwal, both the devices from OnePlus will be launched in India in December. The OnePlus 9RT will be launched as OnePlus RT in India and it is likely to come in Hacker Black and Nano Silver colour options. The OnePlus Buds Z2, on the other hand, is reportedly going to be unveiled in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colour options.
It should be noted that the handset maker has not officially confirmed the launch of the OnePlus RT or the Buds Z2 in India. However, recently OnePlus RT Amazon India ad had surfaced on Google Search, thus, strongly indicating the device's launch in India.
