While London-based Nothing is readying its next smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2) which may be launching soon, the company is also working to introduce a new cable design for the upcoming Phone (2), which has been shown off on Twitter by company founder Carl Pei. However, Pei just posted the picture of the transparent cable without a caption and wrote "caption this" in the form of a GIF.

The upcoming cable from Nothing it still white, but the two USB-C plugs on either end have transparent plastic on top of a grey-coloured material with the “Nothing” logo etched into it.

It should be noted that Nothing has launched all its products with a transparent design so far, including the Nothing Phone (1) and the TWS earbuds.

To recall, the London-based consumer electronics company had officially announced earlier that the Nothing Phone (2) will be launching as a premium smartphone. The company had also shared a cryptic teaser on Twitter and is likely to introduce the Nothing Phone (2) in India too.

As mentioned earlier, Nothing Phone (2) won't be a mid-range device like the Nothing Phone (1). The device will be powered by top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The Phone (2) may come with an updated Glyph Interface and a likely mute button. The Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Previous reports suggested that the smartphone will make its debut in the US, followed by other global markets, including India.

To recall, the Nothing Phone (1) was unveiled in India last year and it was launched after much hype. It caught a lot of attention with its semi-transparent and rear side with LED pattern. The smartphone is still a unique proposition to own right now with its design and LEDs that light up in different patterns for notifications. Some of the smartphones it rivals in India, include the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
