The much-anticipated launch of the Nothing Ear 3 may just be around the corner. Although specific details regarding the launch date and the product's key features remain undisclosed, the UK-based consumer tech company has teased the arrival of a new product via its social media platforms, likely hinting at the Nothing Ear 3. Building upon the success of its predecessors, including the debut of the Nothing Ear 1 in 2021 and the release of the Nothing Ear 2 in 2022, expectations are high for the Ear 3 to maintain the transparent design language of its predecessors.

In a recent video officially teaser shared on X, formerly Twitter, the Carl Pei-owned company showcased a frog traversing over a black beetle, which served as the mascot for the Nothing Ear 2. This teaser hints at the imminent release of the next generation of true wireless (TS) earbuds, with speculation suggesting that the frog could potentially represent the mascot for the Ear 3.

Rumors surrounding the Nothing Ear 3 have been circulating since last November, initially speculating their official debut in January 2024.


Nothing embarked on its journey in July 2021 with the launch of the Ear 1 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, boasting a transparent design at a price of Rs. 5,999. Following the success of these premium earbuds equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC), Nothing introduced their successor, the Nothing Ear 2, in March 2022.

Nothing Ear 3 Specifications And Features (Expected)


The Nothing Ear 3 is anticipated to feature significant enhancements compared to the Ear 2 earbuds, which are currently priced at Rs 9,999 in India.


The Nothing Ear 2 boasts 11.6mm custom drivers in each earpiece, complemented by three artificial intelligence (AI)-backed microphones. They offer active noise cancellation capable of reducing background noise by up to 40dB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, along with support for LHDC 5.0, AAC, and SBC Bluetooth codecs.


Both the earpieces and the charging case of the Nothing Ear 2 carry IP54 and IP55 ratings respectively, indicating dust and water resistance. Each Ear 2 earpiece houses a 33mAh battery, while the charging case packs in a 485mAh battery.
