The Lava Agni 2 5G features a quad camera setup with the primary lens being a 50 MP shooter, the ultrawide lens is of 8MP, the macro lens is of 2MP and the depth lens is also 2MP.


The Lava Agni 3 5G features a camera island with the text "50MP OIS" engraved, indicating that the primary sensor supports optical image stabilization (OIS) for improved photo and video clarity.

The Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7050 (6 nm) chipset and runs on Android 13. In contrast to this, the Lava Agni 3 5G promises an upgrade as the upcoming model is expected to run on MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC. This one is expected to run on Android 14 as the stable version of Android 15 hasn't been rolled out to everyone yet. 


The Lava Agni 2 5G packs a 4700 mAh, non-removable battery that supports 66W charging. As per Lava, it goes from 0 per cent to 50 per cent in just 16 minutes. As for the Lava Agni 3 5G, it is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 66W fast charging, ensuring quicker power top-ups.

Lava Agni 2 5G comes with a frosted glass back complemented with a matte finish. If we talk about the sides of the Lava Agni 2 5G then it comes with a plastic frame that is prone to scratches.


In the official teaser for the Lava Agni 3, the phone showcases curved back edges paired with a rectangular camera module. Speculation suggests the device may feature a customizable button, similar to the 'Action Button' seen in the iPhone 16 series. Additionally, the Agni 3 is rumored to incorporate a rear display, reminiscent of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra’s unique secondary screen.

Lava Agni 2 5G was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.


As for Lava Agni 3 5G, the price hasn't been leaked but, it is expected that the upcoming offering from Lava will also be in the same Rs 25,000 budget segment.
