Slated for release in India on February 22, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro will be a successor to the iQoo Neo 7 Pro. The handset maker has been actively teasing various details of the phone, such as the chipset, RAM and storage choices, among other specs. In the lead-up to the official launch, the Amazon.in microsite has now revealed details about the iQoo Neo 9 Pro's battery, charging and camera features.
As per the Amazon India microsite, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro will come with a 5,160mAh battery, which we have seen in the China variant.
The Neo 9 Pro follows the Neo 7 Pro in India, which boasts a 5,000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. As depicted in the leaked image, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro will incorporate a larger 5,160mAh battery while retaining the 120W fast charging capability. Additionally, the 120W charger, with USB-PD charging support, is versatile enough to charge other devices like phones and notebooks at speeds of up to 65W, says a report in Gizmo China.

For photography, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is set to include the Sony IMX920 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Some reports suggest the presence of a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, featuring a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
iQoo has already confirmed the arrival of the new series of smartphones through X (formerly Twitter). The Indian variant of iQoo Neo 9 Pro will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The same model was launched in China last year in December, however, the Chinese variant runs on MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
The teaser shared by the Vivo sub-brand suggests that the handset will be coming with a dual-tone and white design, leather finish and dual rear camera unit.
Amazon has created a dedicated webpage for the teaser of the arrival of the iQoo Neo 9 Pro. The listing on the website confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. In China, iQoo Neo 9 Pro had a starting price tag of CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant. However, for India, it is expected to be priced below Rs 40,000.
The device ships with Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 in China. It boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. When it comes to RAM then the Chinese variant offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a maximum 1TB of UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage.
