This may not be the best time to purchase the iPhone 13 as we are days away from the launch of the Apple iPhone 14 lineup and it is being said that the iPhone 14 could cost cheaper that the iPhone 13. Contradicting Apple trends and previous reports, market intelligence firm TrendForce has said that the new iPhone 14 could come at a lower price than expected.

According to an analyst at the market intelligence firm, the base variant of the vanilla iPhone 14 could start at a price of $750 which roughly translates into Rs 59,600 which is cheaper than the launch price of the base model of the iPhone 13 which was launched for $799 which is roughly Rs 63,600.

It is pertinent to note that the tech giant is cutting the iPhone mini model and adding the vanilla Max model this year hence, a shake-up in the pricing is expected. In terms of pricing, the iPhone 14 would sit at the bottom, followed by 14 Max, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max. The report adds that the base variant of the iPhone 14 (128GB) could be priced at $750 (roughly Rs 59,600). To recall, the regular iPhone 13 (128GB) launched with a starting price tag of $799 (roughly Rs 63,600). The report suggests that the iPhone 14 Max could be pricier, at least $100 more than the iPhone 14. This still makes the Max variant $50 cheaper than other predictions.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max expected prices

As per the market intelligence analyst, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models are likely to be priced at $1,050 which is roughly Rs 83,500 and $1,150 roughly Rs 91,400, respectively.

Meanwhile, in line with a previous leak, the Apple iPhone 14 series is set to be launched on September 7 at Apple’s annual event, which is being called "Far Out" this time around. A new iPhone model has recently been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, assuring that the new iPhone lineup will indeed be launched in India alongside other markets.
