Honor X9b, the first major much-awaited launch from the Madhav Sheth-led company, has been launched in India. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and sporting a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 108-megapixel primary snapper, Honor X9b will be available to purchase via e-commerce platforms and offline stores soon. Of course, since artificial intelligence (AI) is the top flavour of the season, Honor X9b also comes with a handful of AI features designed to make the overall user experience a lot smoother.


Honor X9b Price In India, Availability


Honor X9b comes in two colourways — Sunrise Orange (with a vegan leather back) and Midnight Black. It is available in one RAM + storage option — 8GB + 256GB (along with 8GB of virtual RAM). It is priced at Rs 25,999. 


It will be available for purchase starting tomorrow (February 16, 12 noon).



Honor X9b Specifications


Let’s talk about the display first. Honor X9b sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.200x2,652 pixels and a claimed gamut of up to 1.07 billion colours. 


Coming to the SoC, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, coupled with an Adreno A710 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. Honor X9b supports face recognition as well as fingerprint scanning for security.


In terms of optics, Honor X9b sports a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 108-megapixel (f/1.75) primary lens, 5-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide and depth camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) macro camera. It supports video recording at up to 4K resolution.


For selfies and video calling, the smartphone dons a 16-megapixel (f/2.45) snapper at the front.


In terms of software, Honor X9b runs on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2. It supports Bluetooth v5.1 and 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz Wi-Fi. And of course, the Honor X9b supports 5G connectivity. Speaking of AI features, Honor X9b comes with 'Honor AI', which offers a host of fun and handy features to make users' experience much easier. For example, the smartphone's keyboard has a 'suggest' feature which can throw up AI-generated suggestions for a variety of needs. 


For power, Honor X9b comes with USB Type-C charging and a 5,800mAh LiPo battery (which is claimed to offer a backup power for up to three days) which supports 35W wired charging. 


The smartphone supports dual SIMs, NFC support, as well as a handful of standard sensors such as gyroscope, compass, proximity, ambient light, and gravity.
