Google Pixel Watch 3: Specifications, Features

The Google Pixel Watch 3 is equipped with the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC and comes loaded with a variety of sensors, including a heart rate monitor, ECG, SpO2, skin thermometer, and GPS. It’s also the first Android smartwatch to incorporate UWB connectivity, making it easier to unlock your phone or locate the watch through Google’s Find My Device. If your car supports the feature, the watch can also be used as a digital key.

The display on the Pixel Watch 3 has seen a significant upgrade, now offering peak brightness of 2,000 nits—double that of last year’s model. The screen bezels have also been slimmed down by a full millimeter. The 41mm version retains its 310 mAh battery, while the 45mm model is powered by a 420 mAh battery. Both versions are claimed to provide 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, even with the always-on display active, matching the endurance of the Pixel Watch 2. Additionally, charging has been enhanced, with the Pixel Watch 3 charging 20% faster than its predecessor.

For those who enjoy music or podcasts during workouts, the Pixel Watch 3 now supports Bluetooth LE Audio, a low-energy protocol that reduces power consumption during streaming. This makes it the first Android smartwatch to offer this advanced feature.

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2: Specifications, Features

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are driven by the new Tensor A1 chip, which Google says has allowed them to reduce the size of the earbuds by 27 per cent, making them lighter while boosting performance and battery life. The Tensor A1 chip is designed to process audio at a speed 90 times faster than sound, doubling the effectiveness of noise cancellation. The earbuds also feature Gemini for enhanced functionality.

Equipped with Silent Seal 2.0, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 promise twice the active noise cancellation compared to their predecessors. They also include a twist-to-adjust stabiliser for a more secure fit. Additionally, these earbuds use AI to automatically pause music when you start speaking or receive a call, shifting to transparency mode, and then returning to the preset mode when the conversation ends. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 also supports Find My Device, clear calling, and spatial audio.

With 11mm drivers, the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 deliver up to 30 hours of playtime with the case and up to eight hours with active noise cancellation enabled.
