The handset, which debuted at last month's "Made By Google" event, is the latest addition to Google's flagship lineup for 2024, alongside the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is equipped with the Google Tensor G4 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. While the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL are already available for purchase in India, the Pixel 9 Pro model is expected to launch later in the country.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at Rs 1,72,999 and comes in a single configuration offering 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is available in the Obsidian (Black) colour variant. Prospective can purchase the Pixel 9 Pro Fold through Flipkart and select retail stores such as Reliance Digital and Croma. As a launch offer, buyers using ICICI Bank cards on Flipkart can avail a discount of up to Rs 10,000. Additionally, a no-cost EMI option is available for up to 12 months. Google is also offering its Google Charger at a reduced price of Rs 3,498 when purchased with the smartphone.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold marks Google's entry into the foldable smartphone market in India. This device features a 6.3-inch Actua cover display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz. The cover display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The main display is an 8-inch Super Actua Flex panel with a resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels and a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor, paired with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also features a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens with Macro Focus, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom.

The device's construction includes a multi-alloy steel hinge and an aerospace-grade high-strength aluminum alloy frame, providing it with an IPX8 water resistance rating. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by a 4,650mAh battery, supporting 45W fast wired charging and wireless charging.
