We are months away from the official release of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch and we already know that the vanilla Galaxy S23 will be a sequel to this year's Galaxy S22. However, the S23 will likely come with a few component upgrades over the S22.

According to a new leak by tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy S23 specifications are as follows: 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The new Galaxy S23 model will likely sport a larger battery than the S22 with a capacity of 3,900mAh. However, this won't be bigger than the Galaxy S21 or S20 battery that was launched with a 4000mAh battery. The S23 battery will support the same old 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

In terms of imaging, there will be a 50MP main camera with OIS coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor and a 10MP camera in the front for selfies.

The cases of the upcoming flagship lineup were leaked a few weeks back and that also gave us an idea of what the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ would look like. The tech giant was rumoured to be working on upgrading the entire flagship S series of smartphones and not just the Ultra variant as usual.

According to a leakster, in terms of looks, the upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 line's "protective cases" reveal that the rear camera cut-outs of the vanilla S23 has made a departure from its S22 forebear. This leak came from famed tipster Ice Universe and it suggests that in terms of the camera design, Samsung would stick with the "traffic-light" camera module for the Galaxy S23 series.

Universe had shared what looks like protective back cases for the purported Galaxy S23 in two colours.

In terms of internals, the Galaxy S23 is likely to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However, some previous rumours suggest that Samsung may ship some units featuring an Exynos 2300 chipset, depending on the region. The Galaxy S23 may feature 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB configurations. In terms of camera, it may feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto sensor.
