Active noise cancellation (ANC) works like a charm and is successful in blocking a significant amount of background noise, even if you're on the streets with bustling traffic. There are six HD MICs with AI ENC (environment noise cancellation) in these VoiceBuds, which ensure that your sound output during calls contains more of your voice and very little to no background noise. Let us dive deep into a detailed review of Clink Audio VoiceBuds.
Clink Audio VoiceBuds Review: Design, Build Quality
Clink Audio VoiceBuds feature a case with a fresh design that might remind you of the days of slider phones. If you want to take the VoiceBuds out of the case, then rather than opening or lifting the lid of the case, you will have to slide it upwards. It is a pretty clean and classy mechanism if you used to like the swag of slider phones or the voice that they used to produce when you would slide it open, or even close. It comes in a Black colour variant only. As soon as the case is opened, you will be greeted by two VoiceBuds with small white light blinking on it appearing like eyes of the black beauty.
The case is made of a hybrid material of Polycarbonate and ABS with matte treatment, which makes it resistant to fingerprints and smudges to some extent at least. As for the buds, the stick side of the buds feature the same matte finish as the case however, the rest of the area features a black glossy finish. They are quite comfortable to wear in-ear and won't give you trouble of having to readjust them every five minutes, which is the case with some other companies.
The case of Clink Audio VoiceBuds, measuring 50x50x25mm, is quite compact in size which makes it easy to slide into your pockets. The VoiceBuds are quite light with each buds weighing only 6 grams. They come with IPX4 rating making it water-resistant. The Graphene drivers are 10mm in size.
Clink Audio VoiceBuds Review: Sound Quality
Clink Audio VoiceBuds boast Hi-Resolution sound with HiFi V DSP making it produce clean and clear sound. Be it melody or bass, they do justice to all. If you are an avid song listener, then these VoiceBuds might be a good fit for you. The high-quality ANC in these buds block most of the sound outside. It cancels out unwanted noise by 40dB. While excersising in the gyms, the ANC will successfully block majority of the noise including the music that would be playing on speakers in the gym.
If we talk about gaming, then Clink Audio VoiceBuds has done justice to that as well. While playing BGMI with these, the low-latency gave the sound output in real time without delaying it. The footsteps of other players were clearly audible and you would easily be able to track them by the sound. I was satisfied by the overall sound quality offered by Clink Audio VoiceBuds.
Clink Audio VoiceBuds Review: Sound Quality During Calls
Clink Audio VoiceBuds leverage a 6-mic setup and precise sound processing to deliver clear audio during your calls whether it is a normal call or a conference call. The ENC technology in these powered by neural network algorithms, cuts out wind noise during calls and delivers balanced noise cancellation.
Furthermore, the anti-wind design of the VoiceBuds analyses the user location’s ambient noise and ensures that their voice remains bold for every call
I had no trouble in my calling experience with these VoiceBuds.
Clink Audio VoiceBuds Review: Battery Backup
Once fully charged, the juice in Clink Audio VoiceBuds will easily last you for up to seven and a half to eight hours. I was switching between the audio modes in between too maybe that's why I got some extra backup as Clink only claims seven-hour playback on a full charge. If you charge it for around 10 minutes, then you can easily get an hour of playback.
Apart from the constant playback of seven to eight hours, if you keep the case along with the VoiceBuds then you can easily get a total battery backup of around 60 hours.
Each VoiceBuds boasts a 50mAh battery, whereas the case boasts a 470mAh. It supports C-type charging.
Clink Audio VoiceBuds Review: Verdict
I was quite surprised by the overall performance of Clink Audio VoiceBuds as it comes at such a budget-friendly price. Be it the sound quality the design or the battery backup, Clink exceeded my expectations. Most other so-called "popular" companies which claim to be the leader of the audio products market, might have a tough time competing with these VoiceBuds.
I recently reviewed Boat Airdopes 131 Elite ANC and was not that pleased with the comfort. To be fair, I expected a somewhat similar experience with Clink Audio VoiceBuds as it is a newer brand that has just entered the market. However, it exceeded my expectations.
