New Delhi: Apple introduced the new iPad (9th generation) Tuesday, which features the A13 Bionic chip that it claims packs more performance and capability into the “most popular iPad”, retaining its all-day battery life.
It has a 25.91-cm, or 10.2-inch, Retina display with True Tone for “vivid colours and a comfortable viewing experience”, besides a 12MP Ultra Wide front camera, support for Apple Pencil (1st generation) and Smart Keyboard, the intuitive iPadOS 15.
The storage capacity is twice that of the previous generation.
The new Apple iPad can be ordered on its website already, and it will be available in stores from Friday, September 24, Apple said.

According to Apple India website, the iPad will be available for Rs 30,900. It is also available on EMI starting from Rs 3,637 a month.

The new iPad starts with 64GB storage — twice that of the previous generation. Users can now store more apps, games, photos, and videos as there is a 256GB option too.
