Android 15 Compatible Phones: With Android 15’s official release, various smartphone brands are starting their rollout schedules, bringing fresh features and enhancements to users. Currently available for select Google Pixel, Vivo, and iQOO models, Android 15 introduces updates like Private Safe, app archiving, and multitasking improvements.


Android 15 Rollout 


The Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 was officially released by Vivo and its subbrand iQoo on September 27 for several high-end models, making them the first to offer a stable version. Google followed suit on October 15th, delivering Android 15 updates to eligible Pixel devices. Samsung has confirmed its Android 15-based One UI 7 will be available in early 2024, launching with the Galaxy S25 series.


Meanwhile, Nothing’s Android 15-based OS 3.0 is scheduled for December, with a beta already accessible on the Nothing Phone (2a). Motorola is also gradually rolling out a beta version of Android 15 to Moto Edge 50 Fusion users who are registered in its beta program.


Android 15 Device Compatibility, Availability


Google’s Pixel devices updated to Android 15 include the Pixel 9 series, Pixel 8 series, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and several earlier models, such as the Pixel 6 lineup. Vivo and iQOO’s initial Android 15 update covered the Vivo X100 series, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, and iQOO 12.


Android 15 Expected Device Rollouts


Following tradition, other major brands like Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Realme are expected to begin releasing stable Android 15 updates for their flagship phones later this year or early next year. Here’s a glimpse of devices anticipated to receive the update:



  • Samsung: Models from the Galaxy S24, S23, and S22 series, along with select Galaxy A, M, F, and Z Fold and Flip models

  • Oppo: Devices like the Find X7 series, Reno12 lineup, and several models from the A and F series

  • Vivo: The X100 series, V40 series, and various models from the Y and T lines are on the list

  • OnePlus: Devices including the OnePlus 12, 11, Nord series, and more are anticipated to receive the update

  • Xiaomi and Redmi: Models across the Xiaomi 14, 13, and Redmi K and Note series are expected to join the Android 15 lineup

  • Motorola: The Moto Edge and Razr series will likely be among the first Motorola devices to receive the update


More brands, including Sony, Nothing, Honor, Asus, Tecno, and Infinix, have also shared eligible models for the update.


As the Android 15 rollout progresses, more models and brands are expected to receive the update, especially for flagship devices.
