The announcement came during a live event hosted by xAI engineers and Musk. However, Grok 3 won't be available to everyone immediately. Only premium users of X will get access, and an extra subscription fee is required on top of that.

Which is quite incredible considering that the team started from scratch ~1 year ago, this timescale to state of the art territory is unprecedented."
