New Delhi: The wait for Apple phone users for the Indian version of PUBG mobile, the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) game, is now over. Game developer Krafton released the iOS app of the game. Krafton had released the game on July 2 for Android smartphone users.


Now, more than a month and a half later it has released BGMI for Apple users. Krafton has also announced the maintenance schedule of BGMI's iOS app. 


Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has shared information about the release of the iOS app of the game on its official social media handle.


In its post, BGMI wrote: "Believe it or not, BGMI is now in iOS as well. Download now. The gaming community was constantly questioning the timing of the release of the iOS version of BGMI Now know from your stars. India's game is now available on iOS as well." 


Download BGMI Through Apple ID or Face ID 


Apple phone users can download the BGMI games by visiting the company's App Store. You can go to the listing in the iOS App store, click on the 'get' option and download the game through your apple ID or Face ID.


The size of the game is 1.9 GB on the iOS App Store. To download Battlegrounds Mobile India, Apple phone users must have a version of iOS 11.0 or later. 


Downloaded More Than 50 Million Times On Google Play Store 


The Battlegrounds Mobile India game was downloaded more than 30 million times in the first week of its release on the Google Play Store. The game has been downloaded more than 50 million times so far.


Krafton launched this game especially for Indian gamers and since India has Android users, the company first launched the Android version.
