The watch supports 5G cellular connectivity with a new modem and antenna designed to improve coverage without significantly affecting battery life.

On the health front, the Series 11 introduces background hypertension monitoring using the optical heart rate sensor and a new algorithm that analyses data collected over 30 days.

It also adds a Sleep Score feature to assess rest quality through sleep duration and stages. Other sensors track heart rate, activity levels, and exercise performance.

The watch runs watchOS 26 and includes features like wrist-flick navigation, an improved Smart Stack, a Workout Buddy assistant, and live translation. Users can receive notifications, dismiss calls, and monitor their workouts with personalised insights.

The Series 11 also supports 5G connectivity for calls and messaging without relying on a paired iPhone, and it continues to integrate with the Fitness app and Apple Health ecosystem.

Battery life is up to 24 hours, and the device maintains Apple’s focus on durability and performance.
