Apple Saket is now official. Following the grand opening of Apple BKC, the iPhone maker's first official India store, in Mumbai on April 18, the company has now opened its second retail store in New Delhi. Located at the Select Citywalk mall, the new store has been named Apple Saket owing to its location. For reference, Apple BKC is located at the Reliance Jio World Mall in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex area (hence the name, Apple BKC). CEO Tim Cook was present at Apple Saket to officially inaugurate the store. He was welcomed by cheers from Apple Store employees as well as fans eagerly queueing up outside the store for the launch.
Cook interacted with the visitors with a smile and applause. Cook took photos with several fans and even signed a few autographs.
In another video, Tim Cook was seen interacting with a child and later took a picture with him.

In a video shared on Twitter, a glimpse of the store is seen, marked by the signature clean, minimalist look that Apple Stores boast of across the world.
The Apple Store in Delhi was previewed on Wednesday, similar to the one in Mumbai, a day ahead of the inauguration (April 18). While Apple BKC is inspired by the iconic 'Kaali-Peeli' taxi art unique to the city, Apple Saket, on the other hand, is inspired by Delhi’s many heritage gates.
