UK-based HealthTech startup Hunna Technology has introduced Europe's first-ever AI serving as a company CEO. This unique system, named IndigoVX, is a hybrid of artificial intelligence and human intelligence, operating on a novel mathematical algorithm. Unlike traditional chatbots, IndigoVX fosters a seamless collaboration between AI and human expertise. It functions similarly to a chess game, where a person establishes high-level goals, and the AI generates optimal moves, with continuous mutual refinement of strategies.
Ahmed Lazem, co-founder of Hunna Technology, took a step back from the CEO role in July, expressing his belief that an AI under human supervision can outperform him. He stated, "She hasn't failed us."
Over the past 12 months, Hunna has meticulously tested the IndigoVX AI system to ensure compliance with safety and legal standards before officially appointing it as CEO.

The successes of IndigoVX so far have been remarkable, the company claimed in a press release. It has effectively formulated a strong and realistic business strategy that the founders successfully executed. Additionally, it identified the initial startup idea and provided crucial research for the roll-out of its medical AI project in the UAE. The system also played a pivotal role in selecting the UAE as the initial target market and contributing to daily business processes.
Hunna's core mission is to harness the potential of AI while maintaining accountability through continuous human supervision. Although IndigoVX is not fully automated, the company perceives this as a strength rather than a limitation. Hence, they have justified awarding the system the title of CEO, as it effectively guides the overall operations of the company, even with its human component.
With the introduction of IndigoVX, Hunna Technology stands at the forefront of innovation, blending the power of AI and human ingenuity to create a unique CEO model that has already demonstrated significant success in driving the company's growth and decision-making processes.
