Chennai: Two different videos of government school students cleaning the toilets at their schools have gone viral on social media. In the first incident, a school girl was seen cleaning the toilets at Anampakkam Government High School in Uthiramerur of Kancheepuram district.
According to a report on ABP Nadu, Tamil Nadu School Education Department has ordered a probe into the video from Anampakkam Government High School on Tuesday.
When ABP Nadu contacted headmistress Pushpavathy, she said, "The sanitation works in the school are usually carried out by village sanitation workers. Every day they will clean the school premises including the restrooms."

"In this backdrop, it is unclear why the student cleaned the restrooms. This also shows that miscreants are attempting to tarnish the image of the school with the video," she said.
Therefore, she demanded the government to take action into the matter.

The Kancheepuram district Collector Aarthi has also ordered the District Education Officer to investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, another similar incident took place in Erode where a couple of students were seen cleaning the restrooms. The video of the students cleaning the restrooms with uniforms was recorded at Mullampatti Government School in Perundurai of Erode district.
