Chennai: Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tamil Nadu MLA and son of TN CM MK Stalin, on Monday told DMK functionaries to not embarrass party's high command by passing resolutions to make him a Minister in the state cabinet.

In a statement, Udhayanidhi Stalin said, "I learned that party members of Trichy, Dindigul and Thanjavur districts passed resolutions to make me a cabinet Minister and sent them to the party office."

"However, the party has already given me the opportunity to become an MLA and using it I have been addressing the problems of the people. With the help of the party president and party seniors' guidance, I am functioning as the youth wing president of the party and traveling across the state for carrying out party works," he said.

"We all know that the partyfold knows well on what decisions to take at which time. Hence, let us all work together in the path laid by Periyar, Anna, Karunanidhi and Anbazhagan to develop the party," he ended.
