New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) on Monday, June 20, announced the results of Class 10 and Class 12. The pass percentage in 10th class board has been recorded at 90.07 per cent while 93.76 per cent have passed in 12th examinations. 


The 10th and 12th students can check their board results online through the Tamil Nadu education board official website at dge1.tn.nic.in or tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.


According to Tamil Nadu board, the students need to secure at least 30 per cent to clear Class 10 and Class 12 board exams.

Here are the steps to check results online:



  1. Visit the official website - tnresult.nic.in or dge.tn.nic.in

  2. On the homepage, click on the results link.

  3. Enter the Registration number and Date of Birth.

  4. Your result will pop up on the screen.

  5. Submit and download the result and then take a printout for future reference.


Last year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, all the students were promoted as the pass percentage recorded 100 per cent in the state in both SSLC or Class 10 and HSE or Class 12. Both Class 12 and Class 10 students were evaluated on the basis of alternative assessment as the SSC, HSE board examinations 2021 got cancelled due to the Pandemic triggered by Covid-19.
