Chennai: A day after petrol bombs were hurled at the party offices of BJP, another petrol bomb was hurled at the residence of RSS functionary Seetharaman’s house at Chitlapakkam on Saturday. No one was injured in the incident. However, the police have established a search to nab the accused.
According to ANI, Tambaram police said, “Petrol bomb hurled on RSS functionary Seetharaman's residence at Chitlapakkam in Tambaram near Chennai. Efforts underway to nab two unidentified people who threw petrol bomb.”

This is the fourth incident since Thursday night. On Thursday, a petrol-filled bottle was hurled at a BJP party office in Coimbatore.
In another incident in Coimbatore, another petrol-filled bottle bomb was thrown at BJP worker Sarath’s house in Kuniyamuthur. In the attack, Sarath’s car got damaged.

In Pollachi, a petrol bomb was also hurled at the load vehicle of an RSS functionary.
On Friday, three Hindu outfit members' cars and auto-rickshaws were also targeted by miscreants in Pollachi. They damaged the glass panes of the cars. In Coimbatore, a duo poured petrol on the car of Hindu Munnani member Thiyagu and set it on fire. However, the family members immediately doused it.
Following this, the BJP alleged that there could be a role of Popular Front of India (PFI) members after the raids conducted by NIA.
