Chennai: DMK MLA and CM MK Stalin's Son Udhayanidhi Stalin handed over a newly constructed home to a couple of his constituency — Chepauk — two months after his review visit that threw light on the poor living conditions and the tattered home of the couple in Triplicane. The couple — Baskar and Radha — were residing in a home at Triplicane which was much below the height of the road putting their homes at risk of inundation.

Following this, in a tweet on Saturday, Udhayanidhi Stalin said, "I was really saddened on seeing the home of Baskar and Radha in Kutharath Ali Makkan Street of Triplicane which was below the road level. On seeing this, we immediately started constructing a new home and we handed over the home on Kalaignar's remembrance day. Congratulations.”
