Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin met Class 12 state board topper Nandini and extended his wishes to her on Tuesday. He also assured that the state government will provide all necessary assistance for Nandini’s higher education.
On Tuesday, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin called on her and congratulated her.
After the meeting, CM Stalin said, “I have been saying in many programs that Education is an asset that no one can steal. I was proud to see that the student, Nandini, achieved a record of 600/600 in the result of the Class 12 public examination released yesterday (Monday).”
Nandini, the daughter of a daily wage labourer in Dindigul, scored 600 out of 600 in Tamil Nadu Class 12 exam. She was a student at a government-aided school in Dindigul district. Nandini achieved the rare feat on Tuesday by securing a centum in Tamil, English, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy and Computer Application.
Nandini was also appreciated by Tamil Nadu BJP Chief Annamalai. TN BJP chief said, "Coming from a humble background, for the first time in Tamil Nadu, sister Nandini scored 600 out of 600 in Class 12 and has proved that there is no obstacle to achieve in education."
He said, "Sister Nandini is an example of self-confidence and perseverance. Yesterday I contacted her on phone and congratulated her. I wish her many more achievements in a way it will bring glory to her parents and country."
