Six members of a family were killed after a minivan crashed into a truck on Salem-Coimbatore National Highway in Tamil Nadu in the early hours of Wednesday. The incident was caught on a camera and showed a white speeding minivan crashing into a stationary truck, according to a visual shared by news agency PTI.  More details into the incident are awaited.


On Tuesday, four members of a family were killed while two were injured after their car collided head-on with a truck in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara, said the police according to a PTI report. The family was on its way to Udaipur from Ajmer when the incident took place. 






The tyre of the car burst after which it jumped the road divider and collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, said SHO of Pur police station Shivraj said, as per the report. 


The deceased were identified as Radheyshyam, his wife Shakuntla, their son Manish and his wife Yashika while a minor girl and driver of the car were injured.

Another car accident in Punjab on Tuesday killed a man and his three-year-old daughter while two others were injured, said the police. The accident took place near the Uchi Bassi area in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur here when four members of a family were returning home from Jalandhar in their car, they added.


The car crashed into a stationary truck parked on the roadside, killing two people, identified as  Om Parkash (32) and his daughter Yuvika (3), said the police. Parkash's wife and another person sustained injuries and they were rushed to a hospital, said police.
