New Delhi: With few days left for the five state assembly elections, ABP News along with CVoter conducted the final survey to understand the pulse of the poll-bound states.
While parties are putting their best efforts to woo the voters with various poll promises, it would be interesting to know whether people are satisfied with their present government or are looking for a change in the upcoming assembly elections.
ABP News along with CVoter spoke to the voters of the poll-bound states-Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, and Manipur and asked some questions to understand their inclination.
ABP News-CVoter asked the voters: Please tell us how much are/were you satisfied with the current Central government's work led by BJP?
In response to the questions, 44.4 per cent of voters in Uttar Pradesh who participated in the survey said that are very much satisfied with the work done by the BJP led central government, while 28.6 per cent of people said that they are satisfied with the centre's work to some extend. However, 26% of people said that they are not satisfied at all with the BJP led government.
In Uttarakhand, 42.7 per cent of people said that they are very much satisfied with PM Modi-led government in the centre, however, 35.4 per voters said that they are not happy/not satisfied at all with the BJP led central government.
In Punjab, a majority of people who took part in the survey are not satisfied at all with the central government's work as 47.2 per cent said that they are not happy with the BJP government. However, 26 per cent people favoured the centre and said that they are very satisfied with their performance.
In Goa, 40.5 per cent of people are satisfied to some extent with the central government's work while 38.7 per cent of voters are very much satisfied.
In Manipur, 36.2 per cent of people are very satisfied with BJP's work, however, 28.2 per cent of voters are not satisfied with the central government's work.
ABP News team asked the next question to understand the mood of the voters.
ABP News-CVoter asked, how much are you/were you satisfied with the state government's performance?
45.2 per cent of voters in Uttar Pradesh who participated in the survey seemed to be very much satisfied with the work done by the Yogi Adityanath led BJP government in the state while 24.3 per cent of people were satisfied to some extent. However, 29.3 per cent of voters were not satisfied at all with the performance of the present state government and may opt for a change in the upcoming elections.
In Uttarakhand which witnessed back to back change of Chief Ministers, 35 per cent of people said they are very much satisfied with the BJP government in the state, however, 34 per cent of people are not satisfied at all.
In Punjab, 44.7 per cent of people said that they are not satisfied with the work done by the ruling Congress party in the state while 27.3 per cent of voters seemed to be satisfied to some extent with their work.
In Goa, 36.7 per cent of voters are not satisfied with the BJP government in the state while 34.7 per cent are happy with the saffron party's work.
In Manipur, 34.9 per cent are contented with the work done by the state government but 32.1 per cent of people are not happy at all.
Uttar Pradesh will go to the polls in seven phases from February 10 to March 7. Uttarakhand and Goa will vote on February 14, Punjab will undergo polling on February 20 and Manipur will vote on February 27 and March 3. The counting of votes will be done on March 10.
