A massive fire broke out on Wednesday in a few dhabas or eateries located in the Bisrakh police station area near Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The fire is said to have been caused due to a short circuit. Upon being informed about the fire, around ten fire tenders reached the spot. The fire has been brought under control and the cooling operation is currently underway. 


According to Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.


"We received information about fire in a few dhabas in Gaur City Circle. Fire services vehicles left for the spot. We found six dhabas and two shops on fire. 10 fire tenders are here. We have brought the fire under control, cooling operation is underway...There are no casualties or injuries in the incident," he stated while providing details about the incident.






A video of the fire also surfaced online which showed the fire engulfing the dhabas and thick black smoke billowing into the sky.






6 Killed After Fire Engulfs Bus In UP's Ghazipur


In another fire incident that occurred in UP's Ghazipur district on March 11, six people were charred to death after a private bus caught fire near Barhi village. The bus reportedly came in contact with a high-tension wire and caught fire. The bus, carrying around 20 passengers was coming from Mau district and was on its way to a wedding function when the accident occurred. 


CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences over the incident anupd also announced Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
