Lucknow: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the founder and national president of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), met BJP state president Swatanter Dev Singh in Lucknow Tuesday. The meeting between the two leaders lasted about an hour. Rajbhar then told ABP News in an exclusive interview that he was ready for an alliance with the party if the BJP accepts his five conditions.

Om Prakash Rajbhar said, "It was a courtesy call. The country was first agrarian and is now caste-dominated. We come from the backward castes. They too belong to backward castes. That's why we keep meeting."

5 Conditions laid down for coalition:

On the question of the alliance, Rajbhar said, "Who doesn't want to form an alliance with Om Prakash? We have five conditions. 1- If the BJP accepts the conditions, then we will consider it. Because I have been deceived in the past. One condition is that on winning the election, the leader of the backward caste will be the chief minister. The region has 52 percent population from backward classes. It cannot happen that we vote and others rule. We will vote and rule. We'll prove ourselves by 2022."

This indicates that Om Prakash Rajbhar will form an alliance with BJP only if Yogi Adityanath is not the chief ministerial candidate. BJP plans to field Yogi Adityanath as its Chief Ministerial candidate. Hence, the alliance between BJP and Om Prakash Rajbhar seems difficult.
