UP Assembly Election: Ahead of Assembly Election in Uttar Pradesh, many leaders are changing their parties after measuring all the pros and cons. The trend of political leaders leaving one party to join another has now intensified. Mayawati led BSP is going to suffer a severe setback tomorrow. About half a dozen BSP MLAs are going to join the Samajwadi Party (SP). 6 BSP MLAs are set to join SP in the presence of SP president Akhilesh Yadav. The program will be held at the SP office in the capital Lucknow.
BSP MLAs Mujtaba Siddiqui, Hakim Lal Bind, Sushma Patel, Aslam Chaudhary, Hargovind Bhargava and Aslam Raini will join Samajwadi Party. All these MLAs reportedly supported the SP in the Rajya Sabha elections. Most of the MLAs who are about to join the SP have reportedly reached Lucknow. All the MLAs have been called to the SP office at 11 am tomorrow.
SP to give tickets to all MLAs
Akhilesh Yadav will give tickets for Assembly Elections to all the 6 MLAs who have left BSP and joined SP. Mujtaba Siddiqui and Hakim Lal Bind are MLAs from Prayagraj. There are reports that the MLA of another party from Prayagraj may also join the SP tomorrow. This MLA had cross-voted in the recent election of the deputy speaker of the Assembly. MLA from Pratappur, Mujtaba Siddiqui, has also confirmed his entry in Akhilesh's party.
