As assembly elections in UP will be held in less than a year and Samajwadi Party who fared well in the three-tier panchayat elections has a boosted morale after the outing. However, the SP leader did not mince his words as he accused BJP of influencing recently held panchayat elections. The SP chief alleged that the entire machinery was used by the BJP to win the elections.

Regarding the upcoming UP assembly elections, he said that there will be a democratic revolution in UP in 2022.
