Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered strict action for the misbehavior and indecency case with a woman during the nomination filing of the block chief in Pasgawan, Lakhimpur. Six policemen have also been suspended.
CO Mohammadi, Abhay Pratap Mall, SHO Adarsh Kumar Singh, Inspector Hanuman Prasad Yadav, SI Durvesh Gangwar, SI Ugrasen Singh, and SI Mahesh Pratap stand suspended. One more culprit was arrested by the police for the incident.
Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said: "Government will take the strictest action against him. The ones who misbehaved with the woman were supporters of an independent candidate and they have been arrested."
On the silence from Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, and Owaisi, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said that "SP, BSP, AIMIM are all different branches of the same tree. Even if their names are different, they are the same. They converge on the basis of caste, community, and region. Sometimes, they pair up for national elections, and sometimes for regional elections. They will be defeated, whether they fight together or separately in Uttar Pradesh."
BJP Never Resorted To Violence: Dinesh Sharma
In response to Akhilesh Yadav's statement, Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that some people cannot tolerate defeat. The BJP has never resorted to violence and neither will it in the future.
"When SP wins seats, it is referred to as the party's as well the public's victory as well as the party. However, when they lose, they call it a victory of the government's machinery," the Deputy CM said.
