UP Assembly Election 2022: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that there is no dearth of leaders for leadership in the Bharatiya Janata Party. Maurya reached Vrindavan with his family on Monday where he offered prayers at Thakur Banke Bihari temple.


Later, when reporters asked him about the leadership in the assembly elections which are going to be held next year, he replied that there is no shortage of leadership in the BJP.


BJP will get more seats than in previous elections


Maurya claimed that the BJP will get more seats in the 2022 assembly elections than in the previous elections. He said, "There is anger against the opposition parties due to the development work by the state government.


Maurya even said that the BJP got 325 seats in the 2017 assembly elections, "but this time we will get more seats." 


The Deputy CM said that the condition of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party in the upcoming assembly elections will be worse than the previous elections of 2017. 


SP-BSP's condition will be worse than 2017


"Whether it is about the 2012 and 2017 assembly elections, or the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, everything is answered. That is why I feel that this time they will not be able to score even a century and if both the parties are compared together, then their condition will be worse than the previous elections, Maurya said.
