Sambhal: It has been nearly five years since Sudheesh Kumar, a soldier from Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, was martyred, but the promise of an inter-college in the village by the Chief Minister is yet to be fulfilled. The villagers including family members are still hoping in the village of inter-college. Family members say that the disabled brother was also promised a job, which is still unfulfilled.
Soldier Martyred In Pak Siege Fire Violation
Sudheesh Kumar was martyred in October 2016 during a ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army in Rajouri. Post this, his body was wrapped in tricolor and cremated with full state honours at his village Pansukha Milk. Sudheesh Kumar has two brothers and a sister in his house beside the old father.
Promises Still Unfulfilled
Soldier Sudheesh Kumar has a five-year-old daughter. He started serving in the Indian Army in 2013. He was the first person to join the army from his village. It has been nearly five years since soldier Sudheesh was martyred but the promise of an inter-college by the chief minister is still unfulfilled. All the villagers, including the family, are waiting for the Chief Minister's promise to be fulfilled.
