In a shocking incident, Uttar Pradesh police arrested a man from Greater Noida for allegedly raping a female dog and then throwing her from the balcony of the third floor. Officials told PTI that the 28-year-old man sexually abused the female on Wednesday and when a neighbor spotted him, he threw her to the ground from his third-floor house. He was arrested on Thursday.


The incident took in the Alpha 2 area and came to light when a neighbour spotted the accused and raised an alarm, the officials said, as quoted by PTI.


"Upon hearing the neighbour's scream, the accused threw the female dog on the street from the balcony. The dog is injured. The accused has been arrested this evening after an FIR was lodged in the case," Vinod Kumar Mishra, in-charge of the local Beta 2 police station told PTI.






"The accused works in a private construction company. At the time of the incident, he was apparently under the influence of a toxic substance," he further told PTI. 


Delhi Commission of Women chairperson Swati Maliwal reacted to the incident called the act "disgusting" and added, "Such people have crossed all limits of cheapness...What right these people have to call themselves humans."


The police has booked the man under Indian Penal Code Section 377 (carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal). According to PTI, police have also invoked under The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, and further legal proceedings in the case are underway.


 


Bhopal Training Centre Employees Kill Dog By Hanging It On Iron Gate, 3 Arrested


In Mandya Pradesh, employees of a dog training centre mercilessly killed a canine by hanging it from an iron-grill gate using a leash and ropes last week. The incident was caught on CCTV camera, footage of which was deleted by the operator and employee of the centre to conceal their crime. 


The matter was reported at Misrod police station by dog owner Nihil Jaiswal, a liquor businessman, reported Times of India. The chilling details of the crime were revealed after the police seized the CCTV-DVR and with the help of the cyber cell, recovered the footage which went viral on social media.  


A case was registered against three individuals, one of them being a woman, including the operator and employees of the training centre under relevant sections.
