A fire broke out at a multi-storey building in Noida's sector 67 on Saturday, officials said. There were no immediate reports of any injury or damage. "Fire tenders along with teams of fire-fighters have been rushed to the spot," PTI quoted police as saying. The incident has been reported from B-Block of Sector 67, police also revealed.

Five Shops Gutted In Fire At Southwest Delhi's Vasant Vihar Area


Another incident of a fire was reported in southwest Delhi's Vasant Vihar area on Saturday, where five shops were destroyed, officials said. During the incident, no injuries were reported.


As per a PTI report, the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) received a call about the fire at 5 am. Soon after the information, 10 fire tenders were sent to the scene. The blaze was brought under control within an hour.


The fire originated on the ground floor of a building in Vasant Vihar's C Block Market and spread to the mezzanine and first floors, according to officials. The fire appears to have been caused by a short circuit, officials told PTI.


Four Injured In Fire Due To LPG Cylinder Blast In West Bengal


In another incident, four individuals, including two women, were injured in a fire caused by an LPG cylinder explosion in an apartment in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Saturday, police reported.


The incident occurred in the Maheshtala area in the morning when the cylinder, stored on the balcony of a top-floor flat, exploded, a senior officer highlighted, as per PTI.


Four fire tenders were also deployed to doze off the blaze, and the balcony of the apartment suffered severe damage from the explosion's intensity, the officer stated. The four injured people sustained burns and were sent to a nearby hospital, the official added.
