Following the consecration of Lord Ram Lalla's idol, a wave of spiritual fervor has swept through Ayodhya, attracting an immense congregation of devotees seeking darshan. Within just six days since the consecration ceremony, an astounding 18.75 lakh pilgrims have offered prayers to Ram Lalla at his majestic temple in Ayodhya.


 According to Uttar Pradesh's Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a distinguished committee has been instituted to meticulously coordinate arrangements, ensuring that devotees have a seamless darshan of their revered deity.


The temple doors opened to devotees on January 23, a day after the consecration ceremony on January 22. Since then, there has been a continuous influx of worshippers from various corners of the country. It is reported that each day, over 2 lakh devotees have visited the temple to have the darshan of Ram Lalla and offer their prayers.

The resounding chant of 'Jai Shri Ram' fills the air, echoing from the heart of Ayodhya to the temple precincts throughout the day. Devotees from diverse states across the nation, and even from international locations, along with those from various districts of Uttar Pradesh, continue to arrive in substantial numbers daily.


Particularly on Sunday when the footfall surged with over 2 lakh devotees converging to worship Ram Lalla, the department informed.


According to the UP DIPR, the number of worshippers on January 23 touched 5 lakhs, but the very next day on January 24 it declined to 2.5 lakhs and it further dipped to 2 lakhs on January 25.


But on January 26, a national holiday on account of Republic Day, a spike of worshippers totaling 3.5 lakhs was witnessed, followed by a decline on the very next as a total of 3.25 worshippers paid a visit to the majestic temple on January 28.
