Ayodhya News: The enthusiasm of Jhulanutsav is clearly visible in the makeshift Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Lord Ram was placed on a silver hammock after 492 years. Ram Mandir Trust has organized the musical 'jhulanotsav' event at Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Kajri and pada were recited in the presence of God. 


Silver Hammock Dedicated To Lord Ram


All the major temples in Ayodhya are planning to organize Jhulanotsav. In the month of Sawan, a joyous procession of Vigraha is carried out in all the major temples. The procession begins at Nag Panchami and ends at Raksha Bandhan. Before the 1990s, the procession and event was carried out on disputed land, but this process came to an end after the demolition of the disputed structure.


In the tent, Lord Ram's statue was placed on a wooden hammock. But, now a 21 kg silver swing has been donated to Lord Ram by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.  


People Looked Highly Enthusiastic


Acharya Satyendra Das, the head priest of Ram Mandir, said a musical program used to be conducted on disputed land in the past. But everything stopped after the structure was razed. This year the trust has shown its dedication to Lord Ram by donating a silver swing. Due to this, there is a lot of enthusiasm was felt among the people.


Spiritual music was played while people enjoyed Jhulanotsav in the premises of Lord Ram. Jhulanotsav has started from Nag Panchami and will continue till the full moon of Sawan on Rakshabandhan.
