UP News: Apna Dal (S) leader Indrajit Patel was shot dead in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj. According to the police, Patel's neighbour Sarvesh Patel is behind the killing of the Apna Dal (S)'s leader. The murder took place due to personal rivalry, the police claimed. The accused has been arrested.

  






The police recovered two pistols from the accused and seized Patel's body from the scene. The body has been sent for a post-mortem.


The investigation into the incident is underway. Meanwhile, following the incident, there is anger among the residents in the village. Following the incident, DCP Ganganagar Zone Abhishek Bharti reached the spot.


According to the police, there has been a dispute going on between the deceased Indrajit Patel and the accused Sarvesh for the past few days. However, the real reason for the dispute between the two and the details of the dispute are yet to be ascertained.

In another incident, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tamil Nadu president K Armstrong was killed. Reacting to Armstrong's death, he said those involved in his killing had been arrested in a midnight operation.


On Sunday, Mayawati paid homage to party's slain Tamil Nadu president K Armstrong in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was hacked to death on Friday. She demanded a CBI probe into the death of Armstrong.


The BSP chief claimed that those who have been arrested so far were not the real culprits and urged Chief Minister M K Stalin to refer the probe to the Central agency to ensure justice to the victim.
