Lucknow: Asserting that his government has implemented a fair and transparent recruitment process in government services, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday claimed that four and a half lakh people have been given government jobs during the past four years in Uttar Pradesh.


“Our government has implemented a fair and transparent process of recruitment in government services and after coming to power in 2017, the state government abolished the recruitment barriers in government jobs by starting the recruitment process,” he said.


Adityanath said that over five lakh people would be given government jobs by the completion of five years.


The Chief Minister after launching online distribution of appointment letters of 2,846 newly selected teachers and assistant teachers in government secondary schools at the Lok Bhawan here said that his government has worked to expeditiously fill the vacant posts of teachers.

He said that 1.5 lakh posts of teachers have so far been recruited in primary, secondary and technical education departments, adding the recruitment process has been done in an absolutely fair manner following the rules of reservation.


Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing the New Education Policy, Adityanath said that this has been implemented to bring about a radical change in the education field.


Emphasizing on implementation of the New Education Policy, he said the responsibility of a teacher is very important.


“The teachers should be role model for the students. A student should remember the teacher for the rest of his life. The newly selected teachers should reach the schools on time and contribute to the overall development of every student,” he added.


The Chief Minister asked the newly selected teachers to contribute to a positive environment in the state and guide the youth in the right direction.
