A restaurant owner's 15-year-old son was allegedly abducted on Wednesday afternoon in the Kotwali Bita 2 neighborhood of Greater Noida, police said. The boy was allegedly abducted around 2 pm, not far from his father's restaurant.

A CCTV camera installed in the area captured the video of a Skoda car pulling up on a road near a hotel. The video shows a woman get out of the car, go inside the hotel, and purportedly walk out with the teenager, before getting into the waiting car.

Krishnajt, the boy's father, said when he tried to reach his son, his cell phone was turned off. After frantic searches turned up no results, the family was forced to check the CCTV footage.

"We are devastated by this incident and implore anyone with information to come forward and assist the authorities in bringing our son back home," he was quoted as saying by NDTV.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Kumar said three police teams have been deployed to apprehend the culprits.
