A 44-year-old businessman from Karnataka passed away due to respiratory complications while on a trekking expedition in Leh, Jammu and Kashmir. The deceased Naren Kaushil, the son of Prof RN Padmanabha, the retired Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Maharaja's Degree College in Mysuru, was an experienced trekker and nature enthusiast, according to a report on Deccan Herald.

Naren was employed as a Deputy Manager in Medical Equipment wing of GE Electricals in Bengaluru. His career spanned various countries, including the U.S., the Middle East, the UK, and Germany.
