In another incident in a series of several reported recently in Madhya Pradesh, a tribal youth was allegedly stripped and beaten in Panna. Seven persons were arrested in the case. ASP Panna Arti Singh said, “They were having a fight for a seat. They got together because of that hurled abuses and scuffle started. The issue that this was done because of the caste, no such evidence is mentioned in the FIR and nothing of this sort has been seen in the video”.
Former MP CM Kamal Nath launched an attack against Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state over the incident and said, “In 18 years of Shivraj's shameful rule, such a BJP system has been set up which is the "enemy of the tribals".” Kamal Nath took to X, formerly Twitter, and said, "Know that even God will never forgive you for torturing the tribals. Get ready to go carrying your bag."

Why is the funds received for the operation of Ajax police stations stopped under your rule. When will “tyrannical Shivraj” wake up? When will the anti-tribal corrupt system wake up? When will you do justice? Should the BJP apologize to the victim and his family in the Panna incident? Instead of covering up the incident as usual, will the culprits be punished within 24 hours?," Kamal Nath wrote on X.
