A fire broke out at a timber shop in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday morning. According to an ANI report, a fire official said they received information about the fire around 3.55 am. No casualties have been reported.
"We received information that a fire broke out in a timber shop at around 3.55 am," Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rajiv Kumar Pandey was quoted as saying by ANI. Two fire tenders subsequently reached the spot. Pandey said the shop is about 100 feet long and, initially, they used one fire tender at the front and one at the back to douse the raging flames.
Pandey said the operation took around five hours, adding that they needed to bring in additional fire tenders. "The fire has been almost controlled and, in about an hour or so, it would be completely doused," he added, as quoted around 9 AM. When asked about casualties, he said there were none and that everyone was safe and sound.
"Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire has been brought under control. No casualties or injuries reported..." the CFO said.

Fire At Noida Sector 65 Leather Factory
A similar incident occurred in Noida’s Sector 65, where a fire broke out in a leather factory early Sunday morning. Noida Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar said 15 fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire was extinguished.
"We received information about the fire in a leather manufacturing company around 4.30 AM. Fifteen fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire has been extinguished," Kumar said.
