Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday took a bullock cart ride during the Rajasthan leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her husband Robert Vadra also joined the march.
According to PTI, on the 95th day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the march entered Rajasthan from Madhya Pradesh on December 5. Rahul Gandhi's march started from Baldevpura in Rajasthan's Bundi district on Sunday morning and went on for 13 km before he left for Shimla. Rahul Gandhi had to attend the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in Himachal Pradesh.
During his march from Baldevpura village, he joined a farmers' group that invited him to ride on a bullock cart. He took the ride from Kotkhurd village to Deikheda village on the Kota-Lalsot Highway.
"Rahulji came to the cart and interacted with the farmers. He also listened to their grievances," said Mahaveer Meena, a local Congress leader who was present on the cart with the farmers.
Meena also mentioned, "I requested him (Rahul Gandhi) to ride the bullock cart, after which he climbed up on the cart, held reins, and drove the cart for around 500 meters between Kotkhurd and Deikheda village on his way to Laban village".
District Congress vice-president Dharmesh Sharma informed that in the evening, Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra also joined the march from Laban to Lekhari railway station in Bundi district. The Yatra will continue till December 21 and cover almost 500 km in 17 days. This will cover the Jhalawar, Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, and Alwar districts of the state. The march will enter Haryana on December 21.
Stars gathering continued in the Yatra as actress Divgangna Suravanshi and actor Siddharth Thamboli also reached Rajasthan's Bundi to join Rahul Gandhi.

This march has started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 has so far covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana of through Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. It is decided to conclude the Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir in early February 2023. Congress will cover total 3,570 km of the country in 50 days.
