New Delhi: One of the best bowlers in the world, Jasprit Bumrah, took to social media platform Twitter to thank healthcare professionals on World Health Day.

In his tweet, Bumrah wrote, "It is a day to appreciate every healthcare professional putting their life on the line for us. Now, more than ever, they need our support and the best way to do that is to stay indoors. A big thank you to all of them for fighting for us every day".

As the entire country is under 21-days national lockdown to combat the deadly coronavirus, Jasprit Bumrah is using this time to 'pick up some new hobbies'.

Despite a dismal performance in Tests and ODIs during the away tour of New Zealand, India swept the T20 series 5-0 in which Jasprit Bumrah played a key role as a bowler. It will be interesting to see whether Bumrah will be able to carry his T20 form to ICC T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in Australia later this year.
