As India takes on West Indies in 1st T20I on Friday, fans' wait to see ex-captain MS Dhoni in India colours has been further delayed as the MSK Prasad led-selectors have decided to carry on with Rishabh Pant across formats.
Before his return, a video has surfaced where Dhoni can be seen singing the popular old Hindi song "Jab koi baat bigad jaye" in the Instagram video.
"WARNING: PLS WATCH AT UR OWN RISK... The very talented Mr Mahi ... @mahi7781 pls dont kill me for postin dis one !!! But dis awaaz had to b shared !! @sakshisingh_r urs comin soon,' the user wrote.
Some days back, Dhoni was seen training with Jharkhand's under-23 team in Ranchi, triggering speculations that he would return to the field ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
Meanwhile, head coach Ravi Shastri expressed his thoughts on the future of the former skipper. He said, “Half the guys commenting on can’t even tie their shoelaces. Look at what he’s achieved for the country. Why are people in a hurry to see him off? Maybe, they don’t find enough talking points. He and everybody who knows him know he’ll be going away soon. So, let it happen when it has to.”
“Let me say this: MS Dhoni has earned the right to retire when he wants to. And let this debate end once and for all,” he further added.
