Sydney: Ever since making his Test debut nine seasons ago against trans-tasman rivals New Zealand, David Warner has not looked back and has been the lynch-pin of Australia's Test batting unit along with the ever consistent Steve Smith. Warner who has been Australia's seasoned opener for the last decade, has been a thorn in the flesh of opposition. A video went viral on social media platform Twitter on Tuesday where the star left-handed batsman can be seen doing some batting practice, and as he makes his way off the ground, he handed his bat to a young fan present in the crowd. Cricket Australia chief Kevin Roberts posted the video on his official Twitter handle. Warner attained a super ton before spinner Nathan Lyon's (5/50 in 16.5 overs) remarkable bowling effort destroyed the Kiwi batting lineup to wrap up the three match Test-series 3-0 on the fourth day of the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Earlier on Monday, Warner (111*) celebrated his fourth hundred - his 24th in Test cricket - in the last five Tests at the SCG. Australia attained a 279-run win against New Zealand to win the third and final Test at Sydney. The hosts had earlier defeated NZ by 296 and 247 runs in the Perth and Melbourne Tests, respectively.
