New Delhi: It’s one of those rare occasions when an Indian cricketer has exhibited such rage against a teammate for faltering on the field.

And it’s least expected from VVS Laxman who was on the verge of winning India a Test match against his preferred side Australia.

He overcame his sore back to become the hero of a nail-biting one-wicket victory for India in Mohali. But one of the moments he & the world would always remember would be lambasting No. 11 batsman Pragyan Ojha on the other end for trying to take an unnecessary run.

With India needing 6 runs to win, Laxman got angry at the careless running of Ojha and almost threw a bat at him. India won the cliff-hanger later on and like a gentleman Laxman apologised to Ojha for his outburst.

Talking about the incident, he said: "It was nothing serious between us. It just happened. Come on, I wasn't going to hit him or anything. It was pressure and nothing else. I apologised to him later."
